A renovation and interiors project in Russell overlooking the bay needed to work within existing consented restraints, and a complex arrangement of spaces stepping up the hillside. The interiors designed with hosting and socialising in mind, with a good mix of private quarters and open social areas. Maximising access to views of the bay while also allowing privacy, the brief was for calm and texture to provide balance from windy days on the water.
